The use of insulation wire extrusion machine includes the installation, adjustment, commissioning, operation, maintenance and repair of the machine and a series of links, its use has the commonality of the general machine, mainly in terms of the drive motor and reduction and speed change device. However, the working system of the insulation wire extrusion machine, that is, the extrusion system, has unique characteristics, and special attention should be paid to its characteristics when using the insulation wire extrusion machine.

The installation, adjustment and commissioning of the machine are generally specified in the instruction manual of the extruder, here is a brief description of the operation, maintenance and repair of the extruder as follows.

First, the operation of the extruder operator must be familiar with the structural characteristics of the extruder they operate, especially to correctly grasp the structural characteristics of the screw, heating and cooling control instrument characteristics, head characteristics and assembly, in order to correctly grasp the extrusion process conditions, the correct operation of the machine.

The operation method of extruding different plastic products is different, but also has its similarities. The following is a brief introduction of the same operation steps and operation matters that should be noted when extruding various products.

1、Preparation work before driving

(1)The plastic used for extrusion molding. Raw materials should meet the required drying requirements, if necessary, need to be further dried. And the raw material will be sieved to remove lumps and mechanical impurities.

(2) Check whether the water, electricity and gas systems in the insulation wire extrusion machine are normal to ensure that the water and gas lines are smooth and do not leak, whether the electrical system is normal, whether the heating system, temperature control and various instruments are working reliably; test run the auxiliary machine at low speed to observe whether the equipment is running normally; start the vacuum pump on the shaping table and observe whether it is working normally. Lubricate the slippery parts of various equipments. If a fault is found, remove it in time.

(3) Install the machine head and sizing set. According to the varieties and sizes of products, choose the specifications of the machine head. Install the machine head in the following order.

① The machine head should be assembled together and installed on the insulation wire extrusion machine as a whole.

② Before assembling the head, wipe off the grease applied when saving, carefully check the surface of the cavity for bruises, scratches and rust spots, and carry out the necessary polishing, then apply a layer of silicone oil on the surface of the runner.

③ Assemble each plate of the head together in order, apply high temperature grease to the threads of the bolts, and then screw on the bolts and flanges.

④ Place the porous plate between the flanges of the headstock to ensure that the porous plate is pressed without overflowing material.

⑤ Before tightening the bolts of the head and the flange of the extruder, adjust the horizontal position of the die, use the leveling table to adjust the level of the square head, and use the bottom surface of the die of the round head to level the bottom surface of the model rubber.

⑥ Tighten the connecting flange bolts, tighten the head fastening bolts, install the heating ring and thermocouple, pay attention to the heating ring and the outer surface of the head tightly.

(7) Install the shaping sleeve and adjust the position, check whether the center line of the main machine, shaping sleeve and traction machine are aligned. After adjustment, tighten the fixing bolts. Connect the water pipe and vacuum pipe of the sizing set.

⑧ Turn on the heating power and heat up the head and the machine evenly. At the same time, open the cooling water of the bottom of the filling hopper and gear box and the water inlet valve of the exhaust vacuum pump. When heating up the temperature of each section is first set to 140℃, and the temperature will be kept warm for 30-40min when the temperature rises to 140℃, and then the temperature will rise to the normal production temperature. When the temperature rises to the temperature required for normal production, keep it for about 10min to make the temperature of all parts of the machine stabilize before starting production. The length of holding time varies according to different models of extruders and varieties of plastic materials. Keep warm for a period of time, in order to make the machine inside and outside the temperature consistent, so as to avoid the instrument indicates that the temperature has reached the required temperature, while the actual temperature is low, at this time, if the material into the extruder, due to the actual temperature is too low, the material melt viscosity is too large, will cause axial force overload and damage to the machine.

⑨ Send the raw materials used for driving into the hopper for use.

2、Driving

(1) after the constant temperature can be driven, before driving the head and extruder flange bolts should be tightened again to eliminate the difference between the bolts and the head thermal expansion, tighten the head bolts in the order of diagonal tightening, the force should be uniform. When tightening the head flange nut, require the same tightness all around, otherwise to run material.

(2) drive, first press the "ready to drive" button, then connect the "drive" button, and then slowly rotate the screw speed adjustment knob, screw speed slow start. Then gradually speed up, while adding a small amount of material. Add material to pay close attention to the host ammeter and a variety of indicators indicate changes in the meter. The screw torque should not exceed the red mark (generally 65%-75% of the torque table). Before the plastic profile is extruded, no one should stand directly in front of the mouth die to prevent injury due to bolt pulling off or due to dampness of the raw material and so on. After the plastic is extruded from the head die, the extruded material should be cooled slowly and led to the traction device and the shaping die, and these devices should be started. Then according to the control instrument indication value and the requirements of the extruded products. The parts will be adjusted accordingly to make the whole extrusion operation reach the normal state. And according to the need to add enough material, insulation wire extrusion machine uses the metering feeder to add material evenly and at the same speed.

(3) When the mouth die out of uniform and good plasticization can be traction man set. (4) In the process of extrusion production, the process parameters should be checked regularly according to the process requirements to see if they are normal, and the process record sheet should be filled out. Check the quality of the profile products according to the quality inspection standard, and take measures to solve the problems in time.

3、Stopping

(1) Stop feeding, squeeze out the plastic in the extruder, and when the screw is exposed, turn off the power supply of the barrel and the head and stop heating.

(2) close the extruder and auxiliary power, so that the screw and auxiliary machine to stop running.

(3) Open the head coupling flange and disassemble the head. Clean up the porous plate and all parts of the head. To prevent damage to the inner surface of the head, the residual material in the head should be cleaned up with steel law and steel pieces, then use sandpaper to grind away the plastic adhering to the head and polish it, and apply machine oil or silicone oil to prevent rust.

(4) screw, barrel cleaning, after removing the head, restart the host, add parking material (or broken material), cleaning the screw, barrel, at this time the screw selected low speed (sr / min or so) to reduce wear. After the parking material crushed into powder completely extruded, available compressed air from the filling port, exhaust port repeatedly blow out the residual granular and powder material, until the barrel is really no residual material, lower the screw speed to zero, stop the extruder, close the total power and cold water valve. (5) extrusion should pay attention to the safety items: electricity, heat, mechanical rotation and loading and unloading of bulky parts. Extruder workshop must be equipped with lifting equipment, loading and dismantling the head, screw and other bulky parts to ensure safe production.

Second, the insulation wire extrusion machine maintenance and maintenance screw extrusion system using routine maintenance and regular maintenance of two ways to maintain maintenance.

(1) routine maintenance is a regular routine work, does not take up the equipment operating hours, usually completed during the drive. The focus is on cleaning the machine, lubricating the moving parts, tightening the easy to loosen the threaded parts, timely inspection and adjustment of the motor, control instruments, working parts and pipelines, etc.

(2) regular maintenance is generally in the extruder after continuous operation of 2500-5000h machine shutdown, the machine needs to disassemble to check, measure, identify the wear of the main parts, replace the parts that have reached the specified wear limit, repair the damaged parts.

(3) Not allowed to run empty, so as not to roll the screw and machine simple hair.

(4) extruder operation if abnormal sound occurs, should immediately stop, check or repair.

(5) Strictly prevent metal or other debris from falling into the hopper, so as not to damage the screw and barrel. In order to prevent ferrous debris into the barrel, the material into the barrel at the filling port can be installed magnetic parts or magnetic frame to prevent debris from falling into the material must be sieved in advance.

(6) Pay attention to the cleanliness of the production environment, do not make garbage impurities mixed into the material blocking the filter plate, affecting product yield, quality and increase the resistance of the machine head.

(7) When the insulation wire extrusion machine needs to stop using for a longer period of time, should be coated with anti-rust grease on the working surface of the screw, machine Jane, head, etc.. Small screw should be suspended in the air or placed in a special wooden box, and a wooden block pad flat, so as not to deform the screw or bruising.

(8) regularly calibrate the temperature control instrument, check the correctness of its adjustment and control sensitivity.

(9) Extruder gearbox maintenance is the same as the general standard reducer. It is mainly to check the wear and failure of gears, bearings, etc. Reduction box should use the machine manual specified lubricating oil, and according to the specified oil surface height to join the oil, too little oil, lubrication is not anti, reduce the service life of the parts; too much oil, heat, energy consumption, oil is easy to deteriorate, the same lubrication failure, resulting in damage to the parts of the consequences. Gearbox oil leakage parts should be replaced in a timely manner gasket (ring) to ensure the amount of lubricant.

(10) insulation wire extrusion machine attached to the inner wall of the cooling water pipe is easy to scale external corrosion and rust. Maintenance should do a careful check, too much scale will block the pipeline, can not achieve the cooling effect, rust will be serious leakage, so maintenance must take descaling and anti-corrosion cooling measures.

(11) to drive the screw rotation of the DC motor to focus on checking brush wear and contact, the insulation resistance of the motor is above the specified value should also be measured frequently. In addition, check the connection line and other components are rusted, and the use of protective measures.

(12) Designate a person responsible for the maintenance of the equipment. And each maintenance repair detailed records included in the plant equipment management files.
