Recently, the engineering team from Handing Cable Machinerty completed the installation and commissioning of the newly purchased EXT150-26DV extruder at a customer’s factory.

This machine is primarily used for extruding PE or PVC cables with diameters ranging from 45.0 - 140.0 mm, with a max. speed of up to 60 m/min.

The EXT150 extruder is equipped with numerous intelligent designs and safety features to ensure stable operation and ease of use. Key features include:

• One-Button Start: The machine offers exceptionally simple operation, with a single-button start that significantly boosts production efficiency.

• MES Data Collection System: Integrated with an MES data collection system, the extruder enables real-time monitoring of production data, greatly enhancing the precision of production management.

• Smart Meter: An intelligent meter is installed within the main control cabinet, providing convenient monitoring of power usage.

• Pressure Sensors: Pressure sensors are installed on the barrel and die, allowing for real-time monitoring of pressure during the production process.

• Temperature Monitoring Points: Temperature monitoring points are set up in the discharge section and gearbox, effectively ensuring stable machine operation by monitoring temperature.

• Ethernet Interface and Control: The extruder is equipped with an Ethernet interface and Ethernet-based control, allowing for efficient connectivity and remote operation.

• Timed Heating System: The main unit includes a timed heating system, allowing preset heating times to ensure the equipment starts in optimal condition.

• Temperature Protection System: If the temperature fails to reach the set point, the main unit will not start, providing reliable safety assurance.

• Specially Designed Die Flow Path: The die head features a unique flow path design, effectively addressing any issues with insufficient extrusion flow, further enhancing production efficiency.
